Japanese scientist - Professor Shoji Takeuchi and his team at the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo, developed a "living" robot skin using collagen and human dermal fibroblasts, allowing robotic fingers to bend without breaking. This innovation bridges the gap between biology and robotics, pushing the boundaries of technology in fields like healthcare and education.
